These are a pair of great looking aluminium canteens with a nice worn patina and beaten up look. It looks to date from around the 1970's.
They have a screw top which incorporates a steel D-ring for carrying. I would describe them as props due to slight corrosion inside presumably making them unsafe to drink from.
Nevertheless, I think they are great pieces for photography or display.
