This is a trimming board for paper and photographic prints, it was likely made in England around the 1960’s. A written address on the bottom says it was once the property of 'St. George the Martyr, 24 Old Gloucester Street, West Central London'. This site was formerly a girls and infants school.

It’s a great example of practical design and works well with the 13 inch scale attached to size your images and a great cast iron and steel cutting arm to get a nice clean edge.

It has a nicely turned wooden handle which protrudes to 55 cm total. All rubber feet are intact – the board still sits well on a table and the cutting action is good.

Condition

Good. There are signs of use such as paint/pen marks on the surface of the wood and some rust to the metal parts.

Items are vintage and as such will show wear and tear commensurate with age. Please study the pictures carefully as these form part of the description.
