Pigeon Hole Filing Shelf

A wooden pigeon hole shelf with 9 compartments for organising your papers and letters. It was salvaged from an Edwardian Post office.

The wood is a solid softwood, possibly pine, with a dark original varnish applied. It has a small ledge, enabling it to be freestanding.

The condition is good overall, with some scratches and scuffs which can be seen in the photos. It would have had a compressed board backing piece, which is no longer present but could be added quite easily.
