A small and charming vintage rough-sawn wooden crate. It was manufactured by 'Bowman Models' of Dereham, Norfolk, and would have held model trains. It likely dates from the 1930s.

It has a solid construction and an open top so perfect for storage of bits and bobs in the home or workshop. It's clean inside, so it could easily store napkins, tea towels or delicate textiles. There is a key-shaped cut out on one end.
