1. Shipment processing times

All orders are dispatched on the next working day after your order. If we need additional information to process your order, this may delay dispatch. 


2. Methods of shipping and delivery time

Our default method of shipping is 2nd Class standard for UK and International Standard for outside the UK. We will use our discretion to alter this from time to time where appropriate. If you would like to upgrade to a different service, please contact us and we can look to arrange this.

Delivery times vary depending on country and service, the below information is a guide from the moment your order is handed over to the courier and specifies working days only. We cannot accept responsibility for delays incurred once the parcel has been accepted by the courier.

Royal Mail (Typically all small parcel sizes up to 2kg)

UK 2nd Class - 2-3 days.

Europe International Standard - 3-5 days.

Worldwide International Standard - 5-7 days.

Transglobal Express (All other orders)

International Economy or USPS Smartmail Plus Ground - 5-7 days.

 


3. Costs

Shipping costs are calculated by combining the weight of all the items you have added to your basket. This can lead to errors where shipping is undercharged as the platform cannot account for the length of certain items and the capacity of certain box sizes. In this case we may contact you to request further shipping costs however we will try to avoid this or cover the cost ourselves where appropriate. Before this further payment is made you will have the option to cancel your order should this not be acceptable.

If you would like us to re-quote shipping for your items before purchasing, please email david@goodsin.uk with the item details and quantities and we can provide this.

Collection is available from the Goods In Warehouse at no cost but this must be pre-arranged to ensure we have your item ready and someone is present to admit you.


4. Shipping restrictions

We do not currently offer shipping to the European union due to tax implications - If you would like to purchase from the European union, email us at David@goodsin.uk and we can arrange this.

We reserve the right to cancel orders where we cannot guarantee items will arrive safely or in accordance with our commitments to our customers.


5. Tracking orders

To keep postage and shipping costs low, we do not use tracked services as standard. This means that while your purchase is insured for loss or damage, you may not be able to track its progress once it has been accepted by the courier. 

Where a tracking number is available, this will be provided to you at the time of dispatch.


6. Damaged or lost items

If you believe your item is lost, please contact us. There is a minimum amount of time after an item has been posted whereby the courier will consider the item lost. Once this time has elapsed, we will look to claim compensation for the value of the item including shipping. Depending on the circumstances, we may wait until this compensation claim has been successful to issue a refund.

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. Pictures of the item in its original packaging and in situ in the box are extremely helpful in claiming compensation for mishandled items. We ask for these images to investigate how the items were damaged and assist in replacing or compensating you.

We will always work with you to resolve any issues quickly and provide the best service we can which may include providing a refund or replacement.


7. Custom and import taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, the customer is responsible for payment of these. If an order is returned to us by customs due to non-payment of duties or taxes, we will not be able to refund postage costs and will deduct any further penalties from your refund amount. If the item is returned in its original condition, we will refund you minus any deductions as stated above. 

The above policy also applies to any items returned due to not being collected from the local depot or if the courier was unable to deliver due to incorrect address details or the customer not being present to receive the package.
