Handthrown 'Sankey' Terracotta Pots
A traditional hand thrown terracotta garden pot produced by Sankey Bulwell.
About Sankey: Richard Sankey & Son Ltd. was founded in 1895 in Nottingham. Ours are some of the many pots they produced. At one point they made 60,000 per day! They were produced entirely by hand until 1976. Each pot is made to a high standard and bears a production stamp.
Ready to plant out with your favourite herbs or flowers, complete with a weathered look and drain hole. Expect some variation as they are handmade and aged.
A great addition to a container garden or ideal for dressing up a front entrance. Even suitable for indoor plants. These would also make a wonderful gift for the avid gardener or plant fan.
The pots are in good condition for their age. Please note: there are size differences in the production of these pots. Please select your preference from the variants.
