Founded in Sheffield, Joseph Rodgers & Sons were one of the most famous knife makers in the country, even appointed as cutler to the Royal Family in 1821 under George IV.

It's 1764 registered 'Star and Maltese Cross' is a signature of the make, seen clearly on the handle of this beautiful example. Stamped on the reverse is 'No 6' and the name of the world-famous Sheffield headquarters, Norfolk St in which it was made.

With a perfectly functioning action, allowing for a half fold, this pocket knife is a real gem and an incredible piece to own.

Please note, we advise that in its current condition the blade would require sharpening.
