Tomato Ceramic Serving Dish

This vintage piece of Vallauris pottery is a four-sectioned ceramic serving dish, sure to spark conversation at the dinner table.

Handmade in France, the name Vallauris derives from a town known as the 'city of 100 potters', the name of which is stamped on the base.

The glaze is beautiful, with reds, greens and browns surrounding the perfectly plump tomato in its centre. Some chips which have been touched up, but otherwise in fantastic vintage condition.
