Jones Quain was an Irish anatomist and lecturer who published anatomical guides and medical volumes in the late 1800's. 

This volume is a 10th edition, published in 1893 on the topic of splanchnology. It contains many very excellent plates of the splanchnological system. This system is made up of the visceral organs.

The condition is quite good for its age - there is some foxing and general signs of age.
