A knife for cutting intricate leather pieces. Shaped for specific angled cuts, this blade is so named for it's design similar to that of a dog's hind leg!
The term 'clicker' comes from the name of the skilled trade person who was responsible for cutting the upper section of leather for boots or shoes. Before mechanisation, the clicking sound of these workers would echo around the workshop!
Manufactured in the former home of George Barnsley & Sons, The Cornish Works in Sheffield, this is a durable hand-tool with a whole lot of life left to live.
